About the Job

We are seeking an accomplished Human Resources professional to collaborate with our corporate team in Rivervale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing expert guidance and policy interpretation to line managers on the full range of human resource policies and procedures
  • Coordinating training, coaching and support to managers to ensure they are informed of their obligations when managing employment relations and industrial issues
  • Maintaining good employee relationships through the effective resolution of industrial issues and grievances, and provision of advice to managers, ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements
  • Contributing to the continuous review, improvement and implementation of HR procedures, forms and processes
  • HR administration including preparation of contracts, discipline/performance letters and coordinating new starter paperwork and system setup
  • Supporting injury management processes
  • Conducting regular induction sessions to familiarise new starters with company procedures and practices
About You
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in a Human Resources position preferably within construction, mining or oil & gas
  • Demonstrable technical understanding of current human resource legislation and best practice
  • High level of computer literacy including advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • High level of initiative and a proactive approach to work
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong work ethic including a high level of accountability and reliability
  • Awareness of and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in relation to HR information and data
