Job Overview

The Strategic Shopper Marketing Leader will design and execute a shopper-centric marketing strategy, collaborating with senior brand executives to develop a world-class shopper marketing communications plan.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading Australian FMCG brand as they embark on a shopper-focused journey.

  • Create an in-store shopper marketing strategy that aligns with brand and customer experience objectives.
  • Analyze customer behavior research to better understand how customers navigate stores, perceive their in-store experience, and drivers of purchase intent.
  • Focus on the role and location of point-of-purchase materials and off-location displays.
  • Review current pricing and ticketing techniques and recommend improvements to enhance price perception in store.
  • Suggest recommendations on holding and displaying publications and announcements such as weekly catalogues, price boards, in-store services, etc.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in retail-based marketing or shopper marketing from a retail or FMCG industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to tell compelling stories and influence key stakeholders.
  • A proven track record of delivering results, with the ability to drive sales from a shopper perspective.
