Job Title: Strategic Business Development Manager

TPG Telecom is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering large complex sales primarily across the top 200 ASX listed Enterprise segment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage long-term complex sales cycles, providing deal leadership to virtual 'tiger' teams supporting sales pursuits.
  • Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders, driving executive engagement and developing complex pricing and legal requirements.
  • Provide insight and thought leadership to influence decision-making, developing and maintaining complex 'opportunity planning' models.
  • Achieve key monthly, quarterly, and annual new business sales objectives, maintaining up-to-date and accurate customer contact, pipeline, and other required information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Attend weekly sales team meetings to review quality and accuracy of Salesforce pipeline, review week-on-week sales activity and key pipeline movements, agree on kick-off and approach to any upcoming tenders and opportunities, review status of all active tenders, and review short- and long-term customer relationship quality and key relationship development activities.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical skills and experience across Telecommunications and Managed Services (network, cyber security, and cloud).
  • Ability to proactively identify and create new business growth opportunities.
  • Exceptional complex enterprise selling skills and experience, excellent communication skills at all levels, including at C-level.
  • Ideal candidate will have a strong list of contacts, knowledge and understanding of sales strategies when selling into Top-end Enterprise segment, and substantial experience in a comparable position.
  • Excellent presentation skills, confident managing high-value business portfolios (multi-million-dollar opportunity pipelines).
