Senior Consultant Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing project-specific services that exceed client and/or project requirements.
  • Certifying design, testing and acceptance activities of rolling stock.
  • Acting as the rolling stock Independent Certifier, certifying design, test, and acceptance.
  • Providing technical matter expertise for DMU and EMU vehicles.
  • Supervising T&C, product introduction and other deliverables as required by future projects.
  • Assisting in project control, execution and management of tasks/projects.
  • Carrying out analytical & implementation tasks.
  • Liaising and assisting with project reviews and the project team and communicating effectively with client staff.
  • Completing all project administrative tasks as required inclusive of managing project reporting and financials.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • At least 10 years' experience in a similar or related role with demonstrated expert knowledge of rolling stock within a consultancy environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechatronic or a related Engineering discipline.
  • CPEng or equivalent registration highly desired.
  • RPEV/RPEQ highly desired but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of rollingstock standards and vehicle specifications.
  • Proven technical expertise in Rolling Stock testing and verification activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional written and planning skills.
  • Confident to work autonomously with limited guidance.
  • Analytical and technical mindset.
