About the Role
As a Senior Consultant within our business, you will provide project specific services that exceed client and/or project requirements. You will certify design, testing and acceptance activities of rolling stock.
You will:
- Act as the rolling stock Independent Certifier, certifying design, test, and acceptance.
- Provide technical matter expertise for DMU and EMU vehicles.
- Supervise Technical and Commercial deliverables as required by future projects.
- Assist in project control, execution and management of tasks/projects.
- Carry out analytical & implementation tasks.
- Liaise and assist with project reviews and the project team and communicate effectively with client staff.
- Complete all project administrative tasks as required inclusive of managing project reporting and financials.
What do we need from you
Ideally, you will have at least 10 years' experience in a similar or related role with demonstrated expert knowledge of rolling stock within a consultancy environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechatronic or a related Engineering discipline.
- CPEng or equivalent registration highly desired.
- RPEV/RPEQ highly desired but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of rollingstock standards and vehicle specifications.
- Proven technical expertise in Rolling Stock testing and verification activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Exceptional written and planning skills.
- Confident to work autonomously with limited guidance.
- Analytical and technical mindset.
