Project Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Senior Consultant. This key position will be responsible for delivering project-specific services that exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical expertise as an Independent Certifier, certifying design, test, and acceptance.
  • Offer specialist knowledge in DMU and EMU vehicle technology.
  • Supervise task completion, product introduction, and other deliverables as required by future projects.
  • Assist in project control, execution, and management of tasks/projects.
  • Carry out analytical & implementation tasks.
  • Liaise and assist with project reviews and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Complete all project administrative tasks as required inclusive of managing project reporting.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechatronics or a related Engineering discipline.
  • CPEng or equivalent registration desirable.
  • RPEV/RPEQ desirable but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of rolling stock standards and vehicle specifications.
  • Proven technical expertise in Rolling Stock testing and verification activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Exceptional written and planning skills.
  • Confident to work autonomously with limited guidance.
  • Analytical and technical mindset.
