Senior Consultant Role

About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team, responsible for providing project-specific services that exceed client and/or project requirements. You will be responsible for certifying design, testing, and acceptance activities of rolling stock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the rolling stock Independent Certifier, certifying design, test, and acceptance.
  • Provide technical matter expertise for DMU and EMU vehicles.
  • Supervise T&C, product introduction, and other deliverables as required by future projects.
  • Assist in project control, execution, and management of tasks/projects.
  • Carry out analytical & implementation tasks.
  • Liaise and assist with project reviews and the project team, communicating effectively with client staff.
  • Complete all project administrative tasks as required, including managing project reporting and financials.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in Mechatronic or a related Engineering discipline.
  • CPEng or equivalent registration highly desired.
  • RPEV/RPEQ highly desired but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated strong understanding of rollingstock standards and vehicle specifications.
  • Proven technical expertise in Rolling Stock testing and verification activities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional written and planning skills.
  • Confident to work autonomously with limited guidance.
  • Analytical and technical mindset.
