Job Title: Painting Trades Person

Main Responsibilities

  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks.
  • Perform tasks in a safety and quality-conscious manner.
  • Deliver results on time and to exact specifications.
  • Understand surface preparation and finishes.
  • Mix paint coatings correctly.
  • Select paints and apply them to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers.
  • Use Wet Film Thickness Gauges to achieve specified dry film thickness.
  • Work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Erect scaffolding and ladders.
  • Clean equipment and work areas.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in blasting and painting (minimum 5 years).
  • White Card CPCCWHS1001 / CPCCOHS1001A.
  • Certificate 3 in Fabrication (surface preparation) (advantageous).
  • Working at Heights and EWP Licence (desired).
