Job Opportunity: Industrial Coating Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced industrial coating specialist to apply high-quality coatings to fabricated steel structures and components for major industrial projects.

This is an opportunity to work in a well-equipped facility, using airless spray systems and applying polyurethane coatings and high-build epoxies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply protective coatings to metal surfaces using industrial equipment
  • Ensure all painted components meet required specifications and finish quality
  • Mix and prepare paints and materials according to technical data sheets
  • Operate and maintain spray equipment and tools in clean working order
  • Adhere to strict workplace health and safety policies and safe handling of hazardous materials

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in industrial coating applications
  • Skilled in airless spray pumps (Graco or similar)
  • Experience applying polyurethane and epoxy coatings
  • Ability to read and follow job specifications and technical data sheets
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and safe work practices
