Job Description

We're looking for a data-driven marketing specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a proactive and organized individual with a passion for analyzing data and creating effective marketing strategies.

This role involves driving scalable growth across paid social channels by analyzing, optimizing, and rapidly testing high-performing ad content. You will work closely with our growth marketers, creative team, and analysts to develop and optimize paid social campaigns.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in performance marketing, paid social strategy, creative testing, and analytics. They will also learn how to interpret marketing results and use them to drive business decisions.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Ad creative analysis: Developing processes to analyze ads and determine what makes them successful or not.
  • Media buying: Working directly with the Marketing Manager - Paid Social to support media buying across Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and other social networks.
  • Ad briefing: Working directly with our in-house creative team to brief new ads and introduce them to our mix.
  • Competitor analysis: Understanding monitoring and reporting on competitor activity within the industry.
  • Reporting: Learning how to interpret marketing results and what they mean for the business.
  • Content Management: Maintaining an organized asset library and growth playbook to ensure timely delivery of creative for campaign launches.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong understanding of social media platforms.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze and interpret data clearly.
  • Comfortable with basic creative analysis and using data to inform creative decisions.
  • Nice to have: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or other relevant content editing tools.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with paid media analytics and how creative impacts performance.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with ad buying platforms.

What You Are Not

While you may be responsible for reporting numbers, your focus should be on uncovering why ads work (or don't) and using that to drive better performance.

Additionally, you won't just be hands-off with creative - you'll actively contribute to ad testing, sharing ideas, and helping shape creative that converts.

Finally, you shouldn't be afraid to test bold, unusual, or humorous ideas if it could improve CAC or ROAS.
