
Insurance Claims Investigator

You will work with the Shared Services Team Leader to provide advice and assistance to internal stakeholders regarding suspected unusual or suspicious claims, activity or trends.
- Review claims referred to the Investigations team to determine whether further investigation is warranted.
- Diligently conduct investigations including desktop investigations, using computer resources and conducting telephone interviews.
- Refer and manage external investigation referrals ensuring appropriate outcomes and minimising costs.
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external clients within company guidelines and regulatory obligations.
Key skills required:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in investigations.
- Experience interviewing persons suspected of suspicious activity and/or victims of crime.
- General insurance experience. Travel insurance specific experience is desirable.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of insurance practices and evidence collection.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Claims review and analysis
- Investigation management
- Client service provision
