Lead a Sustainable Transformation

This role leads and delivers on a strategy transforming a start-up into a sustainable global environmental leader.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the executive team;
  • Work with the Board to define and deliver the commercialisation strategy;
  • Execute the strategic plan and deliver against agreed timelines;
  • Represent the company at events and in the media;
  • Oversee R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Legal functions;
  • Manage the company's risk and compliance;
  • Manage global relationships and stakeholders: governments, investors, media, research providers, IP owners, and licensees.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven CEO experience (ideally 10+ years) in a similar role;
  • Success in financial risk management;
  • Board stakeholder management skills;
  • Media and public speaking abilities;
  • International business experience;
  • Experience building and scaling businesses;
  • Advanced communication skills both written and verbal;
  • A track record as a successful negotiator;
  • Experience in commercialising IP and/or patents highly regarded;
  • A passion for the environment and slowing climate change;
  • Understanding of ruminant livestock production landscapes desirable;
  • Understanding of commercial aquaculture desirable;
  • Experience with carbon offsetting and carbon credit management;
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
