Job Title:

Sustainability Research Manager

We are seeking an experienced agriculture research manager to join our Sustainability R&D team. The ideal candidate will develop and deliver national R&D strategies and activities for sustainability in the sheep and beef sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver national R&D strategies and activities for sustainability in the sheep and beef sectors
  • Collaborate with livestock producers, research providers and the innovation landscape
  • Position the Australian red meat industry as a world-leader in sustainability R&D
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience (greater than 10 years) in R&D program management involving beef cattle and sheep in feedlot and/or grazing systems
  • Strong knowledge of statistics, experimental design, business case development and opportunity assessment
  • Extensive experience and demonstrated achievement in delivering outcomes that benefit the sustainability and profitability of the industry
