Job Title

Lead Road Safety Research and Evaluation Program

Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to spearhead a research and evaluation program that provides strategic insights into road safety.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and managing a comprehensive research strategy to inform policy decisions and initiatives aimed at improving road safety outcomes.
  2. Leading the Queensland Road Safety - Research and Evaluation Advisory Group (REAG) and providing high-level advice to senior executives on strategic direction and investment decisions for road safety.
  3. Fostering strategic partnerships and relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing the department on high-level committees and working groups.
  4. Designing and implementing business and operational plans to achieve the strategic research and evaluation program, overseeing implementation, monitoring progress, and reporting performance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

  • A degree or post-graduate qualification in behavioral sciences or a related field.
  • A track record of leading teams to achieve strategic organizational goals, including experience in research and evaluation programs.
