We are seeking a qualified educator for a Coordinator role at our Outside School Hours Care.

Our service has been a part of the local community, offering a fun, safe, and supportive space for kids. We provide before and after school care, plus vacation care programs, for up to 135 students from Prep to Year 6. Our program combines structured learning with play to help kids learn and thrive.

This is a permanent, part-time position working 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday (split shifts). In this role, you'll support the coordinator and have opportunities to develop your leadership skills and advance your career.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist the Coordinator in daily operations, including program planning, delivery, and documentation
  • Staff rostering and supervision
  • Administration and financial tasks such as fee collection
  • Support the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive educational program
  • Provide children with a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment
  • Work collaboratively within a team to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
  • Participate in professional development
  • Consent to be the Responsible Person on site when the coordinator is absent
  • Promote the service within the local community

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Diploma in Children's Services / Early Childhood or ACECQA equivalent
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma / Anaphylaxis certifications
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and relevant laws/regulations
  • Experience in early childhood education and care
  • Computer skills, including childcare management software
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
