Business Development Manager Opportunity

This position entails acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts within the Federal Government space.

You will work alongside a talented sales team, collaborate with technical and marketing teams, and leverage Elastic's solutions to meet client needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Building awareness and driving demand for Elastic solutions within Federal Government accounts.
  • Serving as an evangelist for Open Source offerings while communicating and demonstrating commercial features.
  • Uncovering new applications use cases to enable users to work smarter.
  • Collaborating across Elastic business functions to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Working with customers to identify new business opportunities and managing complex transactions.
  • Developing a robust business plan through community and customer ecosystems to achieve significant growth.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in quota carrying B2B sales.
  • Extensive experience selling to Federal Government agencies in Australia.
  • A track-record of success selling SaaS subscriptions into large businesses, demonstrated by overachievement of quota and strong references.
  • A deep understanding and preferably experience selling into Enterprise Search, Logging, Security, APM and Cloud.
  • The ability to build relationships and credibility with Developers and Executives.
  • Predictable forecasting capabilities.
