Role Overview

Elastic seeks an energetic Enterprise Account Executive to acquire new business and expand existing accounts within the Federal Government space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building awareness and driving demand for solutions by helping users derive value from their data sets
  • Serving as an evangelist for Open Source offerings while communicating and demonstrating commercial features
  • Uncovering new applications use cases to enable smarter working practices
  • Collaborating across business functions for a seamless customer experience
  • Working with customers to identify new opportunities, managing through the sales cycle and closing complex transactions
  • Building a robust business plan through ecosystems to achieve significant growth within your territory
Requirements
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in quota carrying B2B sales positions
  • Extensive experience selling to Federal Government agencies within Australia
  • A track record of success in selling SaaS subscriptions into multiple large businesses, demonstrated by overachievement of quota and strong customer references
  • A deep understanding of selling into ecosystems including Search, Logging, Security, APM and Cloud
  • The ability to build relationships and credibility with Developers and Executives
  • Predictable and accurate forecasting capabilities
