Inventory Management Specialist

We are seeking an Inventory Management Specialist to support our warehousing operations.
- Manage and coordinate inventory processes, systems, and reporting to maintain optimal inventory management and control.
- Liaise with customers on inventory issues, reporting, and adjustments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Conduct thorough investigations and prepare reports to identify areas for improvement in inventory management.
- Coordinate annual, cyclical, and ad-hoc stocktaking processes to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Analyze inventory velocity to identify fast and slow-moving stock and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement new inventory systems and processes that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Experience in inventory management within a warehousing or storage environment.
- Strong skills in managing or operating inventory systems, procedures, and practices.
- Proven experience in coordinating cyclical and annual stocktakes across a large SKU base.
- Excellent MS Excel skills for data manipulation and analysis.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and numeracy skills (percentages/ratios) to make informed decisions.
