Job Description

This is a great opportunity to lead and deliver efficient inventory processes within an organisation based in Glendenning.

As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inventory and processing stock receiving data, investigating stock discrepancies, and coordinating with transport and warehouse teams for incoming and outgoing goods.

  • Managing inventory and processing stock receiving data
  • Investigating stock discrepancies, including negative reports and below-cost issues
  • Processing stock journals and raising purchase orders
  • Coordinating with transport and warehouse teams for incoming and outgoing goods
  • Managing local, interstate, and imported stock deliveries — tracking and reconciling all movements
  • Liaising with Customer Service and external suppliers to resolve inventory queries
  • Producing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports
  • Leading stocktakes across weekly, monthly, and yearly cycles
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating vendor accounts and pricing in the accounting system

You will have previous inventory control or stock management experience, a background in accounts or bookkeeping, and strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and time management. You will also be confident communicating with both internal teams and external suppliers, able to take initiative, problem-solve, and adapt quickly.
