The Human Resources Business Partner role supports Ausdrill operations and the broader group in HR matters. This involves building people capability, implementing developmental strategies, and managing employee-related issues.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Manager HR/HSEQT, you will offer support and guidance on human resources matters. You will focus on developing people capabilities, implementing strategic initiatives, and managing employee-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to delivering human resources initiatives aligned with the business strategic plan.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including operations, employees, parent groups, and client representatives.
  • Assist leaders in managing and taking accountability for people decisions effectively and consistently.
  • Provide support and advice on employment legislation and employee entitlements.
  • Review and develop HR policies and procedures.
  • Educate and coach managers and employees on HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • Support stakeholders regarding employee relations and performance management.
  • Investigate and manage disciplinary matters, employee issues, or grievances.
  • Develop and implement industrial instruments.
  • Contribute to HR reporting and data analytics.
  • Facilitate HR training and workshops as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in an operational HR role, preferably within the mining or resources sector.

You must have high-level communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels. Additionally, you should be able to educate and coach various levels of the organisation regarding employment legislation and other legislative observations.

Your skills and qualifications include:

  • Highly developed planning and organisational skills.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of employment and industrial relations, legislation, and regulations.
  • Ability to navigate a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of the COAL industry is advantageous.
  • Experience in negotiating IFA's desirable.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
