Job Title: Capital Works Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Works Project Manager to oversee the delivery of assigned projects.

  • This role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of community-focused capital works projects, requiring strong leadership and project management skills.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Local Government, Building, and Construction Industry practices, with experience in managing budgets and timelines. They will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, reviewing designs, and leading evaluation panels.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the initiation, design, procurement, and delivery of capital works projects.
  2. Review draft designs for constructability and potential omissions.
  3. Develop technical requirements for RFQs and RFTs, and lead evaluation panels.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or similar.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence.
  • WHS Construction Induction certification.
