Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Works Project Lead to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to play a key role in delivering high-impact capital projects on behalf of the Council.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert leadership and direction to ensure the successful delivery of diverse range of projects, including civil works, buildings, and infrastructure. They will work closely with internal teams and external partners to meet project objectives and contractual obligations, ensuring timely completion and within budget.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience delivering complex projects such as civil works, buildings, or civic and open space infrastructure.
  • Strong project management skills and a results-driven mindset.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Benefits:

  • A 2-year fixed-term contract with the possibility of a 1-year extension.
  • Full-time, 35 hours per week with access to flexi-time.
  • Starting salary from $101,440 to $107,649 per annum (based on qualifications and experience).
  • Plus 12% superannuation.
  • Potential Civil Liability Allowance for eligible applicants.
