We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Culinary Professional to join our team at The Star Brisbane.

The ideal candidate will have high volume culinary experience and strong knowledge across all sections. They will be responsible for preparing food in a clean working environment, demonstrating knowledge of and being able to use a broad range of cooking and food preparation equipment and skills.

A few key responsibilities include:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare food in line with business volumes, adhering to established deadlines and kitchen standards.
  • Culinary Expertise: Thorough knowledge of the entire menu, including an understanding of all base products and ingredients used.
  • Kitchen Operations: Demonstrate knowledge of and be able to use a broad range of cooking and food preparation equipment and skills, such as sauté, braising etc.

In exchange for your hard work, you can expect:

  • Competitive Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
