About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will lead the kitchen team, oversee menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery of dishes to surpass guest expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Run the pass during busy service times to ensure efficient dish preparation and presentation.
- Support the Head Chef with menu planning, inventory management, and food preparation to maintain high-quality standards.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Create and manage staff rosters to optimize resource allocation.
- Manage food safety and ensure adherence to compliance and safety standards.
- Previous experience working as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume establishment.
- Ability to lead effective teams and build a positive culture.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
- Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets.
- Trade Cooking qualifications.
