Operations Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our airport team in Queensland, Australia on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing day-to-day operational activities and overseeing service delivery to international and domestic clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the unit, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and effective service delivery.
  • Coordinate and supervise the team to provide high-quality services to clients and aircraft.
  • Oversee operational and service delivery activities to ensure all flights are serviced according to procedures and meet customer expectations.
  • Support business development by implementing systems and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Make recommendations on service procedures, quality improvements, and business development requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in a similar role with experience in supervising and leading teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership agility, diplomacy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and possess high energy and results-driven work ethic.
  • Good understanding of Food Safety / WHS and quality assurance principles.
  • Proficiency in using automated time and attendance systems and other business-related software.
  • Competence in various systems and portals for logistics, customer service, and truck maintenance.
