Airport Operations Role

We are seeking a dedicated and safety-focused individual to fill the role of Airport Reporting Officer. As part of our Airfield Operations Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of airfield support services.

This includes airfield operations, training area coordination, and search and rescue duties. To be successful in this position, you will need to possess strong safety focus, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing a range of tasks and duties to ensure the safe and high standard in the operation and maintenance of the airfield.
  • Liaising with Maintenance teams to undertake general light maintenance using equipment such as mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, sweeping, and all-terrain vehicles during wet weather.
  • Ensuring the airport maintains compliance with regulations and Safety Reporting.
  • Undertaking Aerodrome inspections as required by Civil Aviation Safety Regulations.

Requirements:

  • Aerodrome Reporting Officer certification from an accredited training service provider.
  • Previous experience in an airport operations role.
  • Flight Radio Telephone Operators course completion.
  • Strong safety focus and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to function safely while under pressure and have a high attention to detail.
