Retail Marketing Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Marketing Coordinator to support our Australian market expansion. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting market research, coordinating focus group interviews, and identifying potential locations for pop-up stores or retail outlets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market research on the Australian jewelry industry trends, competitors, price points, and other relevant factors.
  • Coordinate and manage focus group interviews to gather valuable insights from local customers.
  • Identify and recommend potential locations for pop-up stores or retail outlets that align with our brand strategy.
  • Research and support lease negotiations to ensure optimal rental terms.
  • Compile and contact local vendors and shopping malls to establish strong relationships and facilitate communications.
  • Participate in regular online meetings with our Japan headquarters and submit comprehensive reports.
  • Provide on-the-ground support as needed, including event planning, launch preparations, and other ad-hoc tasks.
Required Qualifications:
  • Australian permanent resident or citizen with the ability to work independently.
  • Currently residing in Sydney with a deep understanding of the local market.
  • Proven work experience in the jewelry or fashion industry, preferably in a marketing or sales role.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with our Japan team.
