Fire Protection Project Coordinator

Candidates will be working with an up-and-coming Fire Protection contractor who has carved out their own path in the market over the last few years.
The company is undertaking a lot of work on Healthcare, Warehouse, Cold Storage and NDIS projects, and they need a project manager/estimator to join their team.
About the Role- This role will cover project management and estimating for wet & dry fire projects up to a value of around $1 million.
- Candidates must have good knowledge of all fire systems, the ability to estimate and produce tender documents, and must be able to manage or assist with managing projects.
- Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and track progress.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
- Create and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-efficiency.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Identify and address project risks and issues.
- Ensure deliverables meet required standards.
- Maintain project records and prepare status reports.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for projects based on blueprints and specifications.
- Submit competitive bids and collaborate with teams to align with project budgets.
- SOURCE materials and negotiate costs with vendors.
- Identify potential cost risks and suggest contingency plans.
- Monitor costs and adjust estimates during project execution.
- Education: Trade background in Fire, or a related degree.
- Experience: Several years of project management or estimating experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in project management software.
