Job DescriptionThis role will focus on providing project management and estimating services for wet & dry fire projects up to $1m in value. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of fire systems, experience in estimating and producing tender documents, as well as effective project management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and track progress.
- Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure timely task completion.
- Create and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and maintain cost-efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Identify and address project risks and issues.
- Evaluate deliverables against required standards.
- Maintain accurate project records and prepare status reports.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates based on blueprints and specifications.
- Collaborate with teams to align bids with project budgets.
- SOURCE materials and negotiate costs with vendors.
- Assess potential cost risks and suggest contingency plans.
- Monitor costs and adjust estimates during project execution.
- A trade background in Fire or a related degree.
- Several years of project management or estimating experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in project management software.
$80,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
