About the Client

The client is an innovative Fire Protection contractor with a strong presence in the market. They specialize in undertaking projects across various sectors, including Healthcare, Warehouse, Cold Storage, and NDIS.

Job Description

This role will focus on providing project management and estimating services for wet & dry fire projects up to $1m in value. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of fire systems, experience in estimating and producing tender documents, as well as effective project management skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and track progress.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams to ensure timely task completion.
  • Create and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and maintain cost-efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Identify and address project risks and issues.
  • Evaluate deliverables against required standards.
  • Maintain accurate project records and prepare status reports.
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates based on blueprints and specifications.
  • Collaborate with teams to align bids with project budgets.
  • SOURCE materials and negotiate costs with vendors.
  • Assess potential cost risks and suggest contingency plans.
  • Monitor costs and adjust estimates during project execution.
Requirements
  • A trade background in Fire or a related degree.
  • Several years of project management or estimating experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; proficiency in project management software.
Estimated Salary

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
