Reservations Consultant Role

About Journey Beyond Australia's leading experiential tourism group operates 17 brands across the country.

  • This full-time position is based at the stunning Port of Airlie. You will play a crucial role in helping valued customers discover and book their dream experiences.

The Job Description:

  1. Stay up to date with all things Cruise Whitsundays - products, timetables, and promotions.
  2. Manage bookings from email, phone, web chat, and direct sources using Custom Linc.
  3. Process payment bookings and wrap up end-of-day cash-ups correctly.
  4. Check and finalise QA bookings while applying promotions.
  5. C Coordinate bookings with third-party providers with precision.
  6. Keep up to date with our Reservations Policies and Procedures.
  7. Collect and provide catering information.
  8. Provide great service in the Retail Store and upsell our fabulous merchandise.
  9. Prepare the necessary paperwork and manifests for the next day's operations.
  10. Respond to guest feedback in a friendly manner, following our Policies & Procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's Customer Service/Sales experience.
  • Certificate II in Tourism or Business Admin (desirable).
  • Driver's License (desirable).
  • Familiar with CustomLinc or similar reservation platform (desirable).
