About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced IT Service Desk Manager to join our innovative, collaborative, and customer-focused Group Transformation team at the Detmold Group. As a result of an internal promotion, we are pleased to invite applications for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, support, and mentor a small IT Service Desk team to provide high-level IT support to the user group across the business.
- Partner with customers to identify and understand their needs, developing and presenting innovative and practical solutions to meet their requirements.
- Delight customers by providing outstanding service and support, implementing and maintaining the ITIL framework to ensure best practice in IT operations.
- Maintain accuracy of the service catalogue and CMDB, managing incidents and problems, and escalating as required.
About You
We are looking for an experienced IT professional with a proven track record in managing a small IT Service Desk team, preferably in a fast-paced environment. You will have strong technical knowledge of information technology, computer systems, and software, as well as a customer-centric approach and an in-depth understanding of IT operations.
