Family Violence Response Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work with vulnerable families in Sale, providing a supportive and professional service.
About the RoleAs a Family Violence Response Specialist, you will deliver high-quality support to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence. Your role will involve delivering intake support via phone, at our site, and through outreach visits.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of clients requiring support with family violence.
- Deliver screening and triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation, and coordinated referrals.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to support integrated risk assessment and planning.
- Apply for brokerage on behalf of clients when required.
- Refer clients to services within the broader service system and provide them information and support.
- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification as per the mandatory minimum requirements.
- Experience, skills, and capabilities in child, youth, and families welfare.
- Well-developed risk assessment and management skills.
- Understanding of the broader service system referral pathways.
- Sound understanding of the MARAM Framework, Best Interests Principles, and the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005.
- Valid and current Driver's License.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
