Family Violence Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Family Violence Intervention Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver intake support via phone, within the Orange Door site, and through outreach visits.
- Manage a caseload, delivering screening and triage, assessment, crisis responses, service planning, targeted interventions, allocation, and coordinated referrals.
- Collaborate with integrated risk assessment and planning teams, apply for brokerage on behalf of clients when required, and refer clients to services within the broader system.
About the Program:
The Orange Door Program brings together workforces from community service organisations, Aboriginal services, and government agencies to deliver an integrated practice model and consolidated intake point for families experiencing family violence.
Our program focuses on providing services to vulnerable families who require extra support with the care, development, and wellbeing of their children.
Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Knowledge of family violence dynamics and its impact on families.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations and providing crisis support.
