A dynamic opportunity has emerged for a seasoned Business Manager to spearhead the operational efficiency and strategic direction of our Global Investment Banking division in Australia. Reporting directly to the head of Business Management, this role offers a unique chance to drive business performance and results through effective partnerships with functional teams.

About the Role
The Business Manager will be responsible for conducting market share competitive analyses, leading strategic initiatives, and creating management reports to support informed decision-making. Key duties include preparing financial and strategic reports, assisting with budgeting and planning processes, and managing content for leadership strategy sessions. Additionally, this individual will take the lead on implementing compliance protocols and internal audit remediations, ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations and maintaining a high standard of professional conduct.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
• At least 8 years of experience in business management within a financial institution
• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Dealogic, and Acrobat
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Comfort interacting with senior leaders and management
• Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational skills
• Familiarity with Investment Banking products preferred (M&A, ECM, DCM, Lev Fin)
• Experience in a global financial services organization
