
Highly Skilled Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Legal, Contracts & Compliance team, you will be responsible for delivering superior contract management support within the PRV business.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver contract management activities to ensure project delivery outcomes are achieved and provide sound contract / commercial management advice to internal stakeholders.
- Proactively support the preparation and monitoring of contract change proposals, in accordance with contract requirements and obligations.
- Prepare formal commercial responses to both customer and suppliers in conjunction with the project management.
- Manage preparation of key contract management deliverables for submission to and discussion with the customer, and attendance at key customer meetings.
To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated and/or acquired the following knowledge and experience:
- Experience with government contracting (e.g. ASDEFCON and performance-based contracting) is highly desirable.
- Legal or professional Commercial / Contract management qualifications desirable.
- Confidence in interpreting and applying contract documents (contract general terms, payment schedules, contract deliverable schedules and the like), in a project management environment.
- Experience with drafting contract reports, subcontracting arrangements, formal letters and Contract Change Proposals.
- Defence industry and sustainment contract experience highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to engage successfully with customers and suppliers to achieve outcomes, aligned to project delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
You will also need to have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contract documents and apply them in a project management environment.
