
Leadership Position for NDIS Service Delivery

This role requires a Disability NDIS Compliance Lead to oversee the alignment of service models and care delivery with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Practice Standards, legislative requirements, and evidence-based practices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing policies and protocols, designing and delivering training programs, and leading audit readiness and compliance to support the service to meet NDIS accreditation requirements.
In this role, you will work in partnership with central support functions such as Risk and Assurance to support the development and implementation of incident, clinical quality assurance, and audit systems.
You will also work with an agency working group that ensures key policies and training are fit for purpose across other organisational areas.
- Spearhead NDIS Audit Readiness & Oversight: Drive our organisation's preparation for NDIS audits, including structuring and delivering detailed audit reports, identifying risks, and providing strategic recommendations.
- Shape Industry-Aligned Policies & Guidelines: Lead the development and review of standardized policies, practice guidelines, and procedures, ensuring they uphold the NDIS Practice Standards, legislative mandates, evidence-based best practices, and the needs of participants.
- Champion Compliance with NDIS Regulatory Frameworks: Monitor and uphold compliance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission's requirements, including NDIS Practice Standards, Code of Conduct, incident reporting, and participant safety protocols.
- Design Workforce Competency Frameworks: Support the creation and refinement of workforce competency frameworks, defining the knowledge, skills, and responsibilities expected in NDIS service delivery roles.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in an area related to disability or allied health.
- Registration at a proficient level with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
- High-level knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Code of Conduct.
- Demonstrated experience developing and leading policy and procedure development, practice guidelines, and workforce training programs.
- Strong organisational skills, including the capacity for critical thinking and a systemic approach to prioritisation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence and support teams.
