Job Title

We are seeking a proactive and experienced team leader to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality services, overseeing day-to-day operations, managing staff, and supporting participants on their journey toward independence.

The Team Leader - Service Manager is responsible for supervising and coordinating the delivery of NDIS services within the region. This includes managing staff performance, maintaining service quality, fostering relationships with participants and stakeholders, and ensuring participant satisfaction.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing effective leadership and supervision to Support Coordinators and Support Workers
  • Managing day-to-day operations of services including rostering, resource allocation, and staff deployment
  • Ensuring participant care plans are implemented and regularly reviewed to align with NDIS goals and individual needs
  • Supporting the onboarding, training, and professional development of staff
  • Maintaining accurate records of participant and staff activities in line with NDIS and company policies
  • Liaising with participants, families, and external stakeholders to uphold a high standard of service delivery
  • Responding promptly to participant or family concerns, resolving complaints efficiently
  • Overseeing compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards
  • Managing budgets, resources, and reporting for assigned services

Essential Criteria

  • In-depth knowledge of the NDIS and disability sector, including compliance and quality frameworks
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within disability services or a related field
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • High-level organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
