Behaviour Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner to play a key role in delivering high-quality support services for individuals with complex needs.
The successful candidate will have a passion for developing others to improve their report writing, formulation, and strategy development skills.
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for reviewing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, providing training, guidance and support to staff, and participating in research to build the evidence base for our plans.
You will also have the opportunity to be involved in supervising provisional psychologists or providing PBS or other allied health services if interested.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- PhD/Doctorate (desirable)
- Background in Psychology/Occupational Therapy/Special Education or Behavioural Interventions for individuals with Autism Spectrum disorder, Intellectual Disability or other complex diagnoses
- Understanding of the NDIS
- Experience providing Positive Behaviour Support or similar service within the disability, school or justice sectors
- Ability to write and edit high-quality reports
- A car and licence
- National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Working with Vulnerable People Check & NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
