Positive Behaviour Support Specialist Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team and advocate for clients. As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will have the chance to work closely with participants and their support networks, delivering meaningful support in community, clinic, and telehealth settings.

The role offers the ability to develop strong relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders, conduct comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying needs, and design person-centred Behaviour Support Plans that promote positive change.

About the Position
  • You will be working in Perth, collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team in an environment that values your professional development and aims to improve quality of life for participants and their support networks.

We are looking for someone who has experience in community, private or acute settings, holds a relevant bachelor's degree, and is endorsed as 'Core' or above against the PBS Capability Framework. You must also have full Australian working rights, access to your own vehicle, and hold a current driver's licence.

In this role, you will provide education and training to carers and support teams to build capacity and confidence. You will also ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines by reviewing and actively reducing restrictive practices, collecting and analysing data regularly to monitor progress and inform ongoing support strategies.
