Empowering individuals with disability to live their best lives is at the core of this role. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a pivotal part in delivering person-centred behaviour support services under the NDIS.

This is an exciting chance to make a real difference in the lives of our participants. You will work closely with them and their support networks to create and implement evidence-based plans that promote wellbeing and independence.

  • You will develop and implement positive behaviour support plans aligned with individual goals and NDIS plans.
  • Provide high-quality support in home and community settings, such as schools and group homes.
  • Conduct physical and interpersonal assessments using functional assessment tools in various environments.
  • Support engagement, emotional regulation, challenging behaviours, and social skills through therapeutic interventions.
Requirements

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner who shares our commitment to excellence. To be successful in this role, you will need:

A tertiary-level education in a relevant discipline.Core or Proficient registration with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.Ideal experience in positive behaviour support, with a minimum of 6 months' experience preferred.An Australian driver's licence, WWCC, and satisfactory police check.Why This Role Matters
