Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to deliver person-centred behaviour support to individuals with disability. The successful candidate will work closely with participants and their support networks to create and implement evidence-based plans that promote wellbeing and independence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in a relevant discipline and hold registration with the NDIS Commission as a Behaviour Support Practitioner. Previous experience in positive behaviour support is highly desirable.

This role involves developing and implementing individualised behaviour support plans, providing high-quality support in home and community settings, and conducting physical and interpersonal assessments. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting engagement, emotional regulation, challenging behaviours, and social skills through therapeutic interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-informed behaviour support plans aligned with individuals' goals and NDIS plans.
  • Provide high-quality support in various settings including homes, schools, and group homes.
  • Conduct physical and interpersonal assessments using functional assessment tools.
  • Support engagement, emotional regulation, challenging behaviours, and social skills through therapeutic interventions.
  • Complete reporting and administration tasks remotely.
