THE ROLE
As a Clinical Practice Advisor located in our Perth team, you'll play an important role in shaping and upholding best practice standards across our services within the PBS stream. You'll mentor and support fellow practitioners, provide expert guidance, and ensure quality outcomes that make a difference in people's lives within the community.
Alongside this leadership focus, you will continue to provide direct clinical services- delivering behaviour support to your own caseload of clients, supporting the team through co-working, undertaking clinical intake appointments, and reviewing complex reports and plans.
Working closely with our National Clinical Lead and Leadership Team, you will also assist in guiding strategic objectives across client care, operations, marketing, and business growth. If you're ready to lead with purpose and influence meaningful change, we would love to hear from you
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide supervision, mentoring, and professional development opportunities for Behaviour Support Practitioners.
- Deliver evidence-based behaviour support services through an independent caseload, while balancing this with indirect service delivery responsibilities where you guide practice, influence decision-making, and ensure quality outcomes.
- Assist with recruitment, staff development, and enhancement of training/induction programs within the behaviour support stream.
- Evaluate and recommend assessment and intervention tools aligned with clinical standards.
- Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, restrictive practices legislation, and internal policies.
- Deliver and review complex Behaviour Support Plans in line with organisational and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to support quality service delivery and integrated multidisciplinary practice.
- Contribute to national clinical projects and attend relevant meetings and forums.
- Support performance review processes, manage schedules effectively, and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain accountability for professional development and clinical outcomes.

- Relevant bachelor's degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences).
- 5+ years' experience in behaviour support, including assessments, interventions, and Behaviour Support Plan development.
