Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to assist clients in daily activities and community participation.

This program empowers clients' independence and choice through daily living supports or assistance with community access.

  • This role requires a person-centered approach that enhances clients' lives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, applicants should possess:

  • Certificate III in Community, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience as a Community Worker preferred
  • Reliable vehicle, Driver's License, and ability to travel with Comprehensive Car insurance
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • National Criminal History Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
  • NDIS Worker Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Prove rights to work in Australia
  • Genuine desire to provide quality care and enhance clients' lives
  • Reliable, responsible attitude towards work and able to commit to regular hours ongoing
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Access to smartphone
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviors and ensure a safe environment for the client
  • Flexibility to work hours meeting clients' needs (morning, day, afternoon, evening, night, weekend, public holidays)
  • Second language desirable but not essential
