Technical Project Coordinator

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia beBeeProject Full time $80,000 - $145,000
Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled and adaptable Technical Project Coordinator to join our Engineering team—a central function supporting the development of our utility-scale quantum computing systems.

This hands-on role requires someone familiar with delivering complex hardware projects. You don't need to be a hardware expert, but you should feel comfortable working with technical teams, understanding their needs, and translating those into clear plans and actions.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in technical project delivery and coordination, with a strong focus on hardware development—ideally in semiconductors, deep tech, or complex R&D environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing the planning and execution of technical projects across hardware, systems, and integration teams.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet requirements agreed with technical leads and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate internal and external experts to keep work moving, ensuring alignment and accountability.
  • Remove blockers and resolve issues that could delay delivery.
  • Identify potential delivery risks early and put mitigation strategies in place.
  • Build lightweight processes and structure where none exist, adapting as the team scales.
  • Foster trust and collaboration across engineering, research, and business functions.
  • Support documentation and system design delivery across the product development lifecycle.
  • Confidently step in to realign teams or priorities when needed to maintain momentum.
Requirements:
  • Experience in technical project delivery and coordination, with a strong focus on hardware development.
  • Comfortable working with technical teams and understanding their needs.
  • Natural communicator and relationship builder—you know how to earn trust and influence without authority.
  • Experience across the product development lifecycle.
  • Based in Sydney and able to work on-site most of the week.
What We Offer:

A dynamic and fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and development.

A chance to work with a world-leading team of scientists, engineers, and business professionals.

A collaborative and supportive team culture.

Ongoing training and development opportunities.
