About the Role

As an Employability Skills Trainer, you will deliver and facilitate assessments, training and support services to help participants become more competitive in their local labour market.

We are committed to empowering individuals through meaningful employment, fostering independence, and enhancing overall wellbeing.

Your Background

You have experience as a career counsellor or career development trainer with the ability to use specialised career assessment tools and formulate individual career pathway plans for individuals.

You have strong relationship-building skills and can network effectively to promote services.

Your Responsibilities
  • Promote APM and the Employability Skills Training program
  • Support and guide participants to identify their skills and secure employment
  • Develop career development plans for our participants
  • Organise and implement training programs for our participants
  • Build relationships with local employers and community organisations
Requirements
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Availability to work Full Time Monday to Friday between 8.30am to 5pm
