We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Employer Engagement Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with employers in the community to secure employment opportunities for clients who face barriers in the job market.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with employers and clients to provide a tailored service; identifying goals, developing resumes and interview prep, connecting clients with training opportunities, financial support and more.

You will be responsible for engaging with, developing and maintaining employer and community networks to secure employment opportunities for clients, managing a small caseload of clients demonstrating empathy and compassion, providing advocacy and information about our services - connecting both clients and the wider community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building strong partnerships with employers
  • Managing employer expectations effectively
  • Providing exceptional organisational and time management abilities to manage competing priorities

The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to work in an outcome-based environment and achieve positive results, ability to network and genuine passion to build solid partnerships with employers and clients, well-developed administration skills, utilising various databases.
