Accounting Role Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team on a full-time permanent basis.

About the Opportunity:

  • Maintain confidentiality relating to individuals we support and organisational matters at all times.

  • Generate invoices and account statements.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and consistency across financial records.
  • Handle general data input and maintain all accounts receivable files and records.

  • Assist with financial management and analysis.
  • Liaise with internal staff and external customers to address concerns or discrepancies.

  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to foster a positive team environment.

About You:

  • 2-3 years demonstrated experience working as Accounts Receivable Officer in a high-volume function.
  • High proficiency in data entry.
  • Understanding of the full Accounts Receivable process, including invoicing, payment processing, debt collection, and account reconciliation.
  • Proven ability to maintain Accounts Receivable functions at a consistently high standard.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office suite of products and processes relevant to Accounts Receivable.
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles including GST treatments.
  • Experience in reconciling General Ledger Accounts.
  • Current drivers' licence.
  • A current Working with Children check with clearance to work with children.
  • National Police Check Anglican Care will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one.
