Job Title: Microfinance Administration Assistant
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Administration Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Microfinance Operations Manager in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the NILs Coordinators
- Answer phone calls and respond to queries in a timely manner
- Contact clients regarding account enquiries
- Data-entry that is accurate for NILs including financial transactions and data management
- Make payments and follow up outstanding invoices
- Effective use of financial and data systems
- Support of Microfinance Team as directed in system change processes
- Active participation in team meetings
Requirements:
- A certificate relevant to job or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Experienced in welfare service areas
- Demonstrate an understanding and appreciation of our Christian identity and promote our organisation's values through interactions at work
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- Proven experience in data entry
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Able to take initiative
- Good understanding of compliance issues
- Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrates awareness of and sensitivity in the treatment of confidential information
- Understanding of and capacity to relate to people from diverse backgrounds
