As a Provisional Psychologist, you will work with individuals who have been injured on the job to assist them in returning to work. Your role involves conducting assessments, developing strategies, and providing support to help restore their highest level of functional performance.
Key Responsibilities- You will be responsible for managing return-to-work cases for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
- Your holistic approach will include assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, and Vocational Assessments.
- You will deliver vocational counseling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training, and upskilling initiatives.
- Collaboration and liaison with individuals, employers, medical professionals, and other allied health professionals are essential aspects of this role.
