Rehabilitation Consultant Role

This unique opportunity enables you to make a meaningful difference in people's lives. As a Provisional Psychologist, you will work with individuals who have been injured on the job to assist them in returning to work. Your role involves conducting assessments, developing strategies, and providing support to help restore their highest level of functional performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for managing return-to-work cases for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
  • Your holistic approach will include assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, and Vocational Assessments.
  • You will deliver vocational counseling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training, and upskilling initiatives.
  • Collaboration and liaison with individuals, employers, medical professionals, and other allied health professionals are essential aspects of this role.

Requirements
  • You must be a registered professional with AHPRA as either a Provisional Psychologist (currently undertaking a 4+2 or 5+1 internship pathway) or a Registered Psychologist, holding a relevant psychology qualification.
  • A current driver's license and access to own transport are required.
  • The ability to obtain a Police Clearance and Working with Children Check is also necessary.
