Excavator Operator - Total Ocean Care is currently recruiting for a professional to support running a barge and operating an Excavator on a barge. This position requires experience in environmental rehabilitation and marine eco-engineering, as well as strong work ethic and motivation. The successful candidate will be dedicated to sustainability and ensuring safety, quality, and accountability standards across all projects.

We specialize in the construction and design of environmentally friendly seawalls, jetty's, wharf's, pontoon and boat ramps, seawall stabilization, marina construction, pier construction, waterfront boardwalks & pedestrian bridges, maritime civil and structural work, waterfront logistics & services, environmental consulting and much more. If you have experience in these areas and are looking for long-term employment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operating an Excavator on a barge with minimum supervision
  • Performing labouring tasks and manual handling as required
  • Assisting with plant and machinery operations
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with Excavator operations on a barge
  • Experience working around heavy machinery
  • Good knowledge of WHS
  • Excavator ticket
  • Current First Aid Certificate
